Shevvy Morrow was born loving horses. She’s ridden all her life and is a BHS Stage 3 coach, with over 30 years of experience helping women connect with their horses and feel the joy, harmony, and pure exhilaration of working with such sensitive, powerful animals.
Her lightbulb moment came when she realised just how closely the challenges of riding reflect real life. The little “aha” moments in the arena—the ones that bring confidence, calm, and connection—often turn out to be the same lessons we need in everyday life: patience, resilience, balance, and a bit more kindness toward ourselves. These skills don’t just help us ride better—they help us live better too.
Following a lifelong ambition to write, she began putting those lessons down on paper. For Shevvy, writing is simply another kind of coaching—swapping reins for words. Her books share these moments with you, offering practical guidance, gentle encouragement, and fresh perspectives to help life feel a little lighter and brighter.
Inspired by what horses teach us and the joy of carrying those lessons into everyday life, her hope is to bring you a smile, a new insight, and a spark of confidence whenever you need it most.

For many women, it begins years earlier than expected, slipping into daily life before we ever think to call it menopause.
Riding Through Menopause is the first guide written specifically for women whose symptoms show up not only in daily life — but in the saddle. If you’ve been wondering why your confidence has dipped, why your body feels different, or why riding suddenly takes more energy than it used to, you’re not imagining it. And you’re not alone.
With honesty, warmth, and a rider’s insight, this book helps you understand what’s changing, why it’s changing, and what you can
do about it.
You’ll find practical tools for steadying nerves, rebuilding confidence, supporting your bones and joints, easing symptoms,
and reconnecting with the joy of riding again.
This is your invitation to take the reins back
— one breath, one step, one ride at a time.
